![]() Whoever did the carpet in my kids rooms did a terrible job. Do you know how expensive it is to get all new floors?!?! It’s on our list but it didn’t make the cut this time. It’s a different shade of brown in each room, based on the foot traffic, and it’s clearly very old. The carpet in our entire house is this weird, old brownish color. Really though it wasn’t THAT big of a deal…I’m not a mean wife! Nostalgia is hard to fight, but he eventually got over his trauma. I had to fight my husband to get rid of it, because he said he had the same one in his house growing up. The fan looked like it was installed when the house was built. Just…what on earth?! Whoever closed up that window did a terrible job covering it up! Our living room has high ceilings and is on the level below her room, so it would have almost appeared to be a projection room of some sort. You can’t walk in there but you can step in and have a little space! I’m really curious about the state of our house years ago, because it appears as if there was a window in her room…which would have looked out into our living room. Her room is a bit smaller than Leopold’s, at only 10×10 square feet! Her closet is considerably bigger though. This started out as our guest/storage room, so I snapped these photos once I got about half of the junk and the bed cleared out. I’ll include links to the products throughout the post! Many of the items in her room were gifted but I was not paid for this post! I’m so grateful to all of the brands who sent us their lovely products, if it weren’t for them her room theme would be ‘Goodwill Chic’ and not flamingo themed. ![]() I started the planning process a LONG time ago and have been working with some amazing brands to help it all come together. I’ve had so much fun planning and executing this fun Flamingo Nursery for baby Finley! By the way, if you hadn’t heard, we announced her name!
